  • This seems to be something that was building up over a long period of time with the mother... she was coherent enough to think things out and purchase the gun almost a week prior to the murders.... what was her original intent?  To kill the kids and then herself.

  • My father died in August of this year from complications of the heart. He was 89. His last week alive was spent on morphine in the hospital. He was a wonderful, animal-loving, very intelligent, compassionate and warm man.

  • I like the what ever happened to rotten tomatoes comment, lol - but seriously, why mankind turns against each other resorting to violence is the age-old question. Maybe someday we will meet bad aliens from other planets, like "The War of the Worlds", and THEN, perhaps mankind will stick together!

  • I guess the first question that comes to mind is why, knowing there would be toddlers (unfamiliar children) at this home, did the owner not at least put the dog into another closed room for the duration of the party? Simple prevention not taken....

  • Her intentions are good, her points were taken. They were not "well"-taken however, because she directly called this mother "worthless" and "undeserving" of being a parent to the little girl. That's where she lost all points.

  • You blame mom for letting her children "ROAM THE STREETS?" This is laughable. Her children were WALKING STRAIGHT HOME FROM SCHOOL. "Roam the streets." Wow..... your thinking on this count is off. Warped, even!

  • Hold on, USA, let me clarify this.... You are stating that this mother is "worthless" and basically unfit, undeserving of children, because she was working while he children were walking home from school together? Am I hearing this right?
